THE DISEASE OF FREEBIE SCAMMERS

A member reports recently buying a skin and shape set for L$200... something that was thought to be a pretty good deal. Indeed it would have been-- if the items hadn't turned out to be freebies the user already owned... freebies that had been renamed and sold under false pretenses.

Several Things You Can Buy for $295

As most of us know, Second Life sims cost a pricey $295 per month (not to mention the significant "setup fee"). If users are in Europe they are charged VAT and pay $350 a month.

Linden Lab Blunders-- Texture, Scripting and Bandwidth Issues

As the title of this blog indicates, this is going to be a frank discussion of Linden Lab blunders and why Second Life isn't running properly. I'll be discussing several issues-- things that should have been long corrected by the company and for whatever reason, have not.
