No this isn't about Dwagons....
Funny, I was wanting to post earlier this week and ended up posting late. I guess the increased activity caught up to me and I slept for nearly three quarters of a day. This week I finally found where the scales are at work. My last official weight was 292 early this summer. This week I'm 281. WOOT! I can't tell it with my pants, but that's probably because I'm gaining muscle rather than losing flab.
I've signed up for the next months session and…

I've never truly understood griefers. As a friend of mine once said, "Waste of air and eletricity". LOL. They're pretty sad. Here they have this incredible world, and all they can think to do is cause problems? Doi.
BUT, sometimes griefers bring a lot of fun to SL. That is never so much the case as when one of them is goofy enough to attack the tinies at Raglan Shire.
First to be realized is that anyone who decides to grief tinies is a little mentally disadvantaged to…

The beauty of SL which is overlooked by most, is the ability to build a character (an potentially a world) that is your inner self and wishes to become or create. Be it fantasy, many people use this tool incorrectly in creating worlds less like themselves and their visions and turn it into a perverse shell of physical nonsense and worthless temporary satisfication of libido.
That being said

Typically, one creates his or her…

This week I decided to some 'before' pictures. The exercise I've been getting actually made me feel comfortable enough to have my picture taken in a swim suit. However, I'm not comfortable enough to put that picture on the internet. It seems that I bear a striking resemblance to the Venus of Willendorf, i.e. the larger proportioned fertility goddess figurine.
I also checked my lipids to see where I stand health-wise. The results were hideous. I've never seen my HDL so low. I really need to…

It's all about fun.
If you're going to take on a regular avatar (one you wear regularly) it should be because you enjoy the role.
If we're going to a party, rather than going to win L$, we should go for the fun of the party. Then if we just happen to win in the process... that just adds to the fun.
If a person wants to merchant, in my experience that turns out lots better if the person does so because he/she just loves building/scripting/merchanting. If L$ are…

(This is only the beginning of a brief overview of my race. I'll write from a few different perspectives, gaining details as I go. I'm starting with the perspective of an outsider because that is how any fantasy race are perceived when we are first met on the grid.)
History is often written by the victors. They are keen to point out the faults of their enemies and hide their own faults. They dilute aspects of history to sanitize it for the young or sensitive. In the history of…

There is an elite shopping center a bit from where I live, called Zona Rosa (which translated means "pink zone". Why, I have no clue). It's one of those pricey-yet-fun-to-stroll areas that's kind of nice to walk around in, mainly because there's a huge book store there so might as well walk around after shopping for books.
Today there was an Art Fair there so I decided to break away from Second Life and go visit for a while. As I strolled through the myriad of not-very-impressive…

Well I didn't do much walking this week, the weather and my snooze button addiction prevented that. However I did get a challenge this week. The shallow and deep classes were combined this week because the deep water instructor was on vacation. I'm not sore at all but I don't know if that was because I'm getting used to it already or if it was just because I was doing everything wrong. I suspect the latter. The first class I was bravo and didn't use the float belt. So basically I treaded water…

I had a great time yesterday at the midnight campfire in Elvensong. Even the preparations were fun because a great deal op people helped to get it started.
We played a little game. Starting a story and every line added by different people, elfs, dwagons and creatures i can't define. The notecard got lost several times along the way but though this took more time then writing, it was luckily found again. Here's the result.
Our story : ad a line and give the new note to the person…

For those of you who don't know, Spore is an amazing game based on building your own creature as they evolve from microbe to space empire. It's very fun if you like making your own creations and if you like that sort you should pick it up.
The following is a video I made of a creature I based on Eren's Dwagons, mainly the shire dwagon, the colors looked best with it. It didn't take long to make, and was rather fun to do so. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.…

I've been comfortable with my size since college. I purposely park far from stores so I can get more walking into my life and have even been known to play DDR occasionally. I had been a size 24 for so many years that I even considered getting a second job as a fit-model. However, earlier this year my "lifestyle" drastically changed and before I knew it I wasn't just cringing at the price tags at Lane Bryant, but at the size as well. A few months ago I found out I was getting dangerously close…

Just for the sake of memory, was anyone else there when Aardvaark park existed? Was a fun time an dfun place for tinies. I recall so well because I used to live next to it and drew a large influx of Tiny customers to my tavern at the time, The Drunken Kobold. Fun times, fun memories, share yours!
My personal favorite was trying to play kritter ball being NON tiny and the tiny tramploinine room, forgot what it was called.

Greets!
Although most of the post so far have been the bashing of linden labs (and rightfully so) Id like to open this topic on a note relating directly to elf clan.
Now Im fully aware that elf clan is fundamentally a non-rp group due to reasons in the past that need not be brought up but there was a time long ago when the people banded together in quite an epic scenario that brought the focus of the grid to an event that had not been seen upon such in the past - a majopr…

Just randomly decided to post this as a blog so I can have it as a more detailed info as how I can help these days. I am sort of Elf Clan's technical mechanic. I can design complicated event games and what not, such as the Pirate Party with the falling ship sections. I am much more advanced than that now, producing a more varied assortment of items and animations for them. I'm not a scripter but usually carry a few odd scripts. So if you need help with anything related to Elf Clan, let me…

This is just a blog I felt like doing to explain to some of the newer members and such what all is going down with second life, and like Wayfinder, slamming down on the poor ways Linden Labs have opporated the game.
DO NOTE I DO NOT ADDRESS THIS FORMALLY AND NICE LIKE WAYFINDER!!! I AM RUDE AND CRUDE WITH THIS ISSUE AND YOU MAY SEE ME AS BIASED. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ SUCH AS THAT, PLEASE HIT THE BACK BUTTON. THIS IS A VERY SENSITIVE SUBJECT FOR ME SO I DO GET AGGRESSIVE- Thank…

I was just thinking last night that I'd like to blog about some things in my life, both virtual and real. Then I come home and find this wonderful news sitting in my mailbox. Now I have an outlet for creative writing and journaling about my much needed weight loss. I'll try to keep it fairly balanced. I read about a dozen webcomics, so I'm good at keeping up with several chains of thought. I'll try to keep you along too.
Let's see, a little introduction would be best here. I've been…

Sunday, August 24, 2pm, Second Life was closed to logins due to the following reason:
“Due to higher-than-usual load, logins to Second Life have been temporarily disabled.”
Fact: Second Life currently boasts over 20,000 sims. People are paying anywhere from $75 to $350 per sim per month in tier fees. At the time of Linden Lab shutting down logins, the concurrency was 67,335… which is a little over 3 people per sim.
Our group is paying over $1,200 per…
